Akio grew up in the Minneapolis suburbs in Minnesota and graduated from Hopkins high school in 2010, He enjoys traveling for work, yardwork and spending time with his two huskies outside of work.

Akio has about 7 years of experience piercing. He apprenticed in Michigan and has been a licensed body piercer in Indiana, Massachusetts and Virginia In addition to more the a dozen guest licenses across the country while touring with villain arts tattoo conventions.
